The Club

Drumsheugh Baths Club is the oldest private swimming club in Edinburgh and is located in the West End of the city. The majority of shares in the company are held by the subscribing members.

Drumsheugh is a friendly club and members socialise as well as swim. Many members have swum at Drumsheugh for most of their lives and membership spans three generations. New members are welcome and there is currently no waiting list.

One aim of the club is to promote interest in and enjoyment of swimming. Classes are available for all ages and stages from small children to ‘adult improvers’.

Other classes are organised to meet members’ needs and include water aerobics and fitness training and yoga in the gym.

Drumsheugh Baths Club has a reciprocal arrangement with the Western Baths Club in Glasgow allowing members of each club to visit the other facility free of charge.
