The Facilities

Swimming Pool

The 70ft long and 35ft wide swimming pool has remained unaltered with its rings and trapezes still in use over the water. Water quality is considered amongst the best in Edinburgh.

Poolside

Individual poolside changing cubicles have been retained and members have a permanent personal locker for swimwear and other items. Body and foot towels are provided. Showers are located adjacent to the shallow end of the pool. Baby changing facilities are available.

Gym: newly refurbished

The spacious and welcoming Gym offers a comprehensive range of the latest fitness equipment. There are a range of classes to suit everyone - from Circuit Training to Yoga. Experienced and qualified staff are on hand to assist and motivate members.

Saunas and Hot Tub

One sauna is located near the pool with a cold douche shower and relaxation area alongside. A hot tub is located near the poolside.

A second sauna at balcony level has a relaxation area, showers and cold plunge. This facility is timetabled for men only or women only use.

Members’ lounge

Relax with one of the supplied daily newspapers in the quiet and comfortable members’ lounge overlooking the pool. Snacks and hot drinks are available.

Changing Facilities

The entrance hall contains seating, a cloakroom and pigeonholes for outdoor footwear. After changing from their outdoor footwear, members proceed downstairs to the members’ lounge, gym, sauna and pool.
